The Workshop investigates and discusses the recent trends in the field of accounting, control and auditing with a special focus on financial and international aspects.
This workshop represents an opportunity for teachers, researchers, and practitioners to present their works, to exchange ideas, to network, and to highlight emerging issues.
A broad range of topics are addressed such as:  governance, financial disclosure, accounting principles, IFRS, accountability processes, financial control, Performance measures and indicators, management accounting, financial auditing, business ethics, etc.
We invite research papers on all these topics focusing on corporations or SME. Papers selected for the conference will be those that identify latest issues, employ appropriate and rigorous methods to investigate the topics and present the material in an interesting fashion.
Plenary sessions with academic and professional speakers will discuss the recent developments in financial accounting practices (Rules & Applications) while parallel sessions will be organized for all the topics above mentioned.

o Camera-ready due: March 1st, 2009

Submissions have to be sent electronically to the Workshop Chair: tawhid.chtioui@reims-ms.fr.

Papers must show a significant relevance to the accounting and finance research field. Only electronic submissions in PDF or MS word format will be considered. Papers must follow the Word format downloadable at http://www.tawhid-chtioui.com/template.doc
